The B Project Foundation
Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 6, 2026
The B Project Foundation (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This page explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information you give us
When you share a story, send us a message, volunteer, or sign up for an event, you may give us your name, email address, and whatever details you choose to include. A story you share may include information about another person. Please share only what’s needed to understand the situation, and only with that person’s awareness.
Donations
Donations are processed by Zeffy, our payment provider. Your payment details go directly to Zeffy; we do not see or store your card information. Zeffy’s own privacy policy governs how it handles that data.
How we use your information
We use the information you give us to respond to you, to carry out Acts of Kindness, to process donations and send receipts, and to keep the records a nonprofit is required to keep.
Who can see it
Stories and messages are read by our Board of Directors and trustees. We rely on a few service providers to operate the site and share information with them only as needed: Formspree delivers our form submissions, Zeffy processes donations, and Cloudflare hosts the site. We do not sell or rent your personal information.
Keeping stories confidential
Stories are kept confidential and read only by our board and trustees. When someone we help prefers, we keep their name private.
Children’s privacy
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Your choices
To ask what information we have, or to correct or delete information you’ve given us, email hello@thebproject.org.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above shows when it last changed.
